When I started on my path to ministry, I had a great mentor at my side helping me navigate this journey. Sadly, his mentorship only lasted a year, and then I was left to navigate part of this journey on my own, or so I thought.

The reality is that God is always directing our steps if we allow him to participate in the process. But if you are anything like me, I like to be in control of what I do and where I go. This human control of a God calling doesn’t work very well, and we end up wandering around without fulfilling our purpose. We need to “let go and let God” take care of this journey as we take faithful steps with His direction.

This blog is the documentation of that journey, and it will include not only my journey but also other people in ministry with whom I will reach out in order to gain their unique story of God’s path to their ministry journey.

“Your path to ministry” is not about the path we design for ourselves, but rather “God’s path to ministry.” I hope that through this blog I can inspire others to embrace their calling and seek God’s guidance, as they navigate this journey.

I realize now that when I was left on my own to navigate the vast area of ministry, God was giving me the experiences necessary to write this blog and hopefully help other people reach their God-given purpose in our earthly life.

Join me as I share with you each week. In the future, we will also have a podcast that will come alongside this blog.

Thank you in advance for your love and support, and I pray that God will continue to enlighten your journey as he directs your steps to fulfill your purpose.
